I am originally from the Seattle, Washington area, where I grew up and graduated from the University of Washington. I live about 8 nautical miles from Seattle with my Husband, Don, son John and Dog, Peaches. I am a registered nurse and registered counselor. My career includes working in the areas of Quality and Care management in acute inpatient, outpatient and clinic settings. I am passionate about writing and research about Healthcare, Family, human interest, and what makes people do the things they do. When I am not writing and working, I love to spend time with my family, cooking, entertaining, and being out on the water in our Sailboat.

I would like to offer answers that look at the issue and question, not just on the surface but in depth. I would like to offer clarity and understanding in a world that isn't always black and white.
